Which boots?
So I need advice. I asked for Zappos gift cards for my birthday, because I have been asking for a certain pair of Uggs for the last 2 years for xmas. I am NOT an Uggs person, but for some reason I like the look of these. However, now that I can actually order them, I saw some Frye boots that caught my eye. I don't know which to get. I have wanted the Uggs for a while and am pretty sure the Fryes will NOT fit my fat calf (even though they are the extended claf) Anyway which would you get?
DH said get both and return whichever doesn't fit, but I know if they both fit I will want to keep both, so I don't want to do that.

While I am an Ugg lover... to me there is no contest between those two boots. Definitely The Frye!

The Uggs are the retro cargo the Fryes are the Veronica Slouch.

While I really love the first pair, I feel that unless you are a size zero they will not look good. For that reason I would pick the second pair. I do like them too. I think you can wear them with more things.

Oh no, I'm sorry - I was just referring to the style of the Frye... I don't own them (yet) and really like that pair! I didn't know what the "name" of the style was.

I personally like the Frye BUT, If I were you I'd get the Uggs. You've been wanting them for a while, which means you really like them, so I would get those. The Frye's just caught your eye bc that tends to happen when we've wanted something for a while and are about to actually take the plunge.

I don't like the Uggs because I dislike the soles on them...they're very chunky.
That said, i vote Frye.

Thanks for the input girls. I went to order the Frye's this morning and they don't have my size in stock. Don't know if that's a sign or not. Gonna wait a few days to see if they come back in stock.

I prefer the Fryes but thats because I really find it hard to like Uggs- I try them on every year and they look cute off and are warm but ON my feet they look HUGE and I just cannot do it.
They have those cargo ones in the Ugg outlet in Riverhead - just in case you want to call and see if they are your size and maybe you can buy both and not feel guilty

I own both frye and ugg boots (I have the cargo uggs you have posted above) and it depends on what you plan on using them for.. if you are looking for simply another pair of boots, I'd go with the Frye boots but if you are looking for a casual and comfy go to boot that goes with everything, then I'd go with the UGGS

I own those Cargo Uggs in black and LOVE them. So comfy and cute.
But I have to say, the boots you posted are two different styles, two different uses IMO. So depending on what you want to wear them with, I'd choose that way.
