No thank you PIO!
I have done 3 so far, right leg, left leg and right leg again. It is really gross when I do it but doesn't hurt until the day after. I have such bad dead leg feelings. I have been heating before and after and I don't have any marks, bumps or swelling, but my legs are so sore!
How is this okay to have to do? How come you guys don't complain more about this? They said if I get pregnant I will do it for 9 weeks and that it will be "all worth it" which btw I am SO sick of hearing!!!

I always took the shot in my butt upper outer quadrant, not in the leg (ouch). Can DH or a friend or family member give it there?

DH had a hard time doing the trigger shot on me, and he was so heavy handed I would bruise. When he said the PIO needles he wanted to leave the room. I don't trust his heavy hand. No one else knows we are even doing ivf, I would try to get my arse myself but I think it would be too hard.
It's the upper thigh, if you cut your legs to thirds the top third.

Yes, by far, PIO is the worst! (Metformin is a close 2nd!)
I do the PIO myself too. It takes me a good 10-15 mins in total! Dead leg is totally normal. While you are doing the heating pad, rub your muscles to loosen it up. The same for after you inject, rub it into the muscle then you heat again.
