Do you shop at SAKS?
and if so what type of things do you buy there? i got a $200 GC to Saks this Xmas and debating whether to sell it on plastic jungle for about $170 or use the card to buy make up etc...

Typically I have only bought bags from there. Depending on what kind of bag you get though, $200 would just cover a portion of it. I once had a $25 gift card and didn't want to put it towards a bag where I'd end up spending so much more than that, that the $25 savings from my gift card would seem insignificant. Instead, I splurged on a Chanel lipstick. It's something I wouldn't have ordinarily splurged on, but I ended up just paying just $5 of my own money in the end!
Oh, and I it became my favorite lipstick I ever used! 
With $200, you can get some nice makeup and some perfume!
ETA: I also wanted to add you could get some cute winter accessories!! (scarf, etc)

Denim, makeup, perfume, dresses, ties for DH, shoes.

Thanks...to be honest I had a quick look at the site for boots and didn't really find any I liked - I would have bought hunters but I have them already...thought about UGGS but just cannot do it...my feet like GInormous in uggs....took a quick look at some outerwear but they didn't appeal or else didn't have my size...I guess I am just impatient and wanted a quick fix!!
I also have a $200 GC to Kate Spade so will probably use that towards a bag and I have just bought a bag so wanted to stay away from them.

I would put it toward a handbag that you normally would not buy for your self.
Tory Burch has great bags thatyu can get in the 200 range- a microfiber tote or a wallet. I used a GC for the TB mini clutch bag... It is great for going out at night.

Don't sell it and lose $30! There has got to be something there that you like. A coat? A dress? Make-up? Perfume/cologne?

Don't know where you're located but you could probably use it at Saks Off 5th at the Source in Westbury. Sometimes they have some good deals there.
