Holiday weekend GRRRRR wwyd?

So, I got my surge on Wed but, I get fake ones half the time with my possible Pcos and the clomid. I got one on monday and then tested later on and it was negative. So, I kept testing until I got a positive and then tested 2x and still got one so I think it was a true :). So, I went in today to take my blood to see if I ovulated so I can go ahead with my progestrone. Now, I call my dr and the office is closed! The answering guy said he won't hear until Tues. I don't want to wait that long. Should I just start taking it tommorrow anyways?

def dont start progesterone without dr. confirmation. if you didnt ovulate you can def screw up the whole cycle by starting progesterone. ill be honest, its really silly that your doctor has you rely on OPKs if you have PCOS and tend to get fake surges (that happened to me ALL the time, i would get days and days of surges with no ovulation, I knew I wasn't ovulating because I was temping). i would insist that the dr. monitor you properly or find another doctor. leaving it up to the OPK is ridiculous with PCOS due to high LH being as symptom, it's their job to make sure you know whats going on!!

does your doctor have an email or any other way to get in touch with him? id be very annoyed if it were me and they were closed and didnt give me proper instructions.

They called! I did Ovulate. Thanks for the advice. Monitoring is not covered by my insurance so my doctor tries to minimize it as much as I can. I actually was supposed to be monitored 2x this month but, since she told me I have to get IVF she told me not to waste my money this month.
