Baked Ziti with chop meat
Anyone have a recipe usings jar sauce and like 1/2 lb chop meat to make a baked ziti???

my MIL makes tiny meatballs and puts them on top of the pasta, before the last layer of cheese, and bakes.

My Mom always made her ziti with ground beef. She'd put it in with the Ricotta mix (ricotta, mozz, parm, parsley, salt, pepper,etc). The sauce was always added last and then mixed.

just brown the ground beef with a chopped onion and add it to your ricotta mixture. Just make sure you have enough jarred sauce other you are going to have dry ziti!
