I cant keep any kind of plant or flowers alive in my house. I kill everything! Thinking of doing some faux flowers...tacky or not?

I have fake flowers....and a few fake plants...oh and a 7' fake rose bush.
they look real though.
IKEA usually has a good selection.

Re: faux flowers
My mom had a fake bouquet for years in our house that looked real. She bought each piece separately from Michael's and arranged it herself. If done well, it could look really nice. If done poorly, it'll look really tacky.

Re: faux flowers
The only faux flowers I would put in my house would be expensive ones from pottery barn, restoration hardware or places like that. They look the most real.

Re: faux flowers
I hate faux flowers. DH likes them. That said we have a large vase on the floor in the entrance way, that has these large flowers in it. Everyone compliments it when they walk in.
We bought them at Pier1- actually DH did. He just literally picked up the entire vase with all the individual flowers in it and bought it (the vase was being used to display the flowers - they were in there for individual sale).
I had to give in but I really wish I could throw them out. I hate the dust they collect.
