What color would you put?
Here's a pic of the living room... So far we're about halfway done with the painting. It looks soooo different with the brown molding gone and white blinds. It's so much brighter! Anyway, my question is this. You see the fireplace... the wall it's on sticks out about 1.5-2 ft from the back wall. What color would you paint the sides of the wall sticking out? The front of the wall will be a darker color than the rest of the living room (accent wall), would you paint the sides the same color as the front of the wall, or the same color as the other walls in the living room? The previous owners had them the same color as the other walls. Thanks! Image Attachment(s):

Re: What color would you put?
I may be crazy, but I think I would consider white...it would tie with the blinds/molding and make it "float" sort of.

Re: What color would you put?
I would do it the same color as the wall that sticks out. But i'm just guessing!

Re: What color would you put?
If you want the side walls of the accent wall to pop, I would paint the sides the same color as the front. If you want the sides to just blend, then I would paint them the same color as the walls.
