Where would you go?

You are two adults (non romantic relationship) and a 2 year old who travels well but likes to run around.

You have roughly 2k and 2-5 days.

Domestic or int'l are both fine although the latter would be tough with the budget.

You have diverse interests but can't be on a beach the entire time. Basically a city or any other destination with a decent amount to offer.

The trip can be spring or summer but Feb break could also work. You're on the school schedule.

Where would you go?

I would probably go to Florida or California.

The 2yo needs to pay for a plane ticket now so airfare alone would cost $1500 to the caribbean.
