we usually host (this year we have a wedding). here are some things I have done:
pizza (cut into bite size squares) homemade potato skins fried ravioli with swedish meatballs parm crusted chicken nuggets with marinara for dipping baked clams clam dip spinach dip spinach balls pierogies sauteed with onion w/ sour cream for dipping sausage bread mini crab cakes shrimp cocktail stromboli taco cups buffalo chicken dip chili dip mini reubens sliders mini paninis weiner wraps with and without cheese pulled pork sliders

Thanks so much for the ideas. Wanted to do something different as I always make the same things-lol.

We always make sausage bread and spinach bread. I think I might get a sushi boat for earlier in the night too. I could eat just dips (spinach, buffalo chicken, artichoke, crab), but my husband likes real food.

My go-to snacks are
bread bowl w spinach artichoke dip pigs in a blanket cheese & crackers veggies & dip 7-layer taco dip
for "dessert" maybe apples and caramel dip cookies
Can you tell I like dip?

Bacon cups Stromboli Sausage stuffed mushrooms Jalapeño pepper (either stuffed, or as a dip)

I'll bring 2 quiches: One ham and cheese and one lorraine.
And ceviche... so easy, cooked shrimp, ketchup, mayo, and onion.

Ok...since we will have dinner before people come over, we decided to do "lighter" appetizers-lol:
Potato Chips & Pretzels with Onion Dip Tostitos Scoops with Cheese/Salsa Dip Bread with Spinach Dip Deviled Eggs Cheese/Pepperoni/Crackers Platter Shrimp Ring
This is for 10 people and was thinking of doing a sausage bread too but that might be enough since it is basically "snack"-lol.
