How do I stay positive?!?!?
After 1 fresh, another fresh resulting in a FET due to labor error,....all BFNs - a chemical with the FET-....I am moving forward with a new fresh.
So after 1 fresh BFN and 1 chemical....
I sometimes catch myself thinking,...this won't work this time either. I should lose weight first or I should find another test to do. But, my RE says there are no other tests, that my weight is going down and to start the cycle.
I am taking asprin and PIO this cycle....SO there is a change... but I can't stop thinking...what if this doesn't work.
How do you ladies keep doing it? I need to change my attitude now because I start injections on 1/9!

Instead of saying 'what if' it doesn't work.. how about ... 'what if it DOES work'?!
I often have to catch myself thinking negative things.....
what if it's negative? what if I have another loss?
.... but just by going through this process, there's a chance it can work!!
I went through my last cycle completely negative (before I got pregnant). I went into the transfer crying in the waiting room because I didn't think it would work. I made plans for our next protocol during my 2ww anticipating that it most likely was not going to work. I knew our lining was pretty terrible and we didn't have such good odds. Well.... you can imagine how surprised I was when it DID work!! Of course you know how that ended... but still.
You don't have to be positive for the cycle to work- but it's definitely better for your frame of mind and your sanity to at very least be neutral- but not negative. Those are your embryos!! They're your (hopefully) future babies you're transferring back!! If anything, you owe it to THEM to be as hopeful as possible.. because you just never know. This cycle could be the one!!

You're an amazing person Jackie! Youu really are!!
To the OP, staying positive is an issue for me too. Trying to find things to keep me hopeful-but in being a realist and managing my own expectations, it can be really hard sometimes. Prayer, meditation, exercise etc are all helpful. I just read an article last night given to me by my doctor to avoid negative people and places. I guess I wont be seeing my family until I give birth. Hope you're finding ways to just be happy and maybe having no expectations about the cycle-just try to do things that make YOU happy can help put you in a better frame of mind overall. HTH!!

Re: How do I stay positive?!?!?
I totally understand how you feel since during my last two cycles I tried to be positive even though as I layed on the table I said to my cycle I don't think this is going to work. I am now on a break and I plan on doing a FET either late January or February.
For some strange reason I feel that cycle will give me a BFP. Since I am on a break I am dieting and exercising (my bmi is up there) and on prenatal, and taking baby aspirin. You and I were on the same schedule last cycle and I am confident we will have 2012 babies.
