Straightening hair?
This is kind of a weird question but girls who straighten their hair, are you finding it harder to straighten as you get older?? I never had difficulty like this. I'm having a very hard time keeping my hair straight after I flat iron/blow dry it. My hair is naturally wavy and I've never had issues like this until lately. I'm curious as to why. It's annoying and every time I straighten it, it looks like crap. I thought maybe as you age your hair structure just changes? It's not the weather either because I usually only mess with my hair on very dry days.
Help!!!

Re: Straightening hair?
I once read in a magazine that sleeping on a silk or satin pillowcase can help maintain the life of a blowout. Apparently sleeping on a cotton pillowcase can take out the moisture or something?..
Anyway, I started doing this and I think it does help a little!
Another thing you may want to try is changing your products around. I find after a while sometimes I need a product tube-up because my hair 'gets used' to what I was using.
Right now I switch off between Redken Iron Repair (highly recommend!) and It's a Ten leave-in spray. Once my hair is dry and before I use the iron, I use Chi Iron Guard. I get all of these at Ulta and you can usually search online for a printable coupon!

Re: Straightening hair?
It might be your hair that's changed. My mom's curls loosened every time she had a baby - maybe yours is getting curlier after M?
Try other products in your hair and see how that goes. I love the Chi Flatiron spray and Aquage gel. It's kind of pricey, but you only need a teeny bit and it works SO well.

It sounds like your hair is changing. I would try some new products.
