Recipe using goat cheese and caramelized onions?
Love these ingredients but don't have a recipe. Anyone know of ones? Could be on a crustini, tart, puffed pastry, etc.

I don't have a recipe but this reminds me of these delicious phyllo dough appetizers that I think I bought at either Whole Foods or Trader Joes. They were so freakin' good-I loved the sweetness that the onions had mixed with the goat cheese.

I did one of the Pillsbury pastry sheets but I can't remember the recipe ! Its such a winning combo so I dont think you can go wrong no matter what you do...

I love salads with goat cheese. Goat cheese, walnuts and Craisins make a great salad.

Thanks, I'll save this for the future! I ended up caramalizing some vidalia onions with a little butter and EVOO, added salt,pepper, a dash of sugar & a sprinkle of thyme. Once super soft and yummy I just put the in the ready made mini phyllo cups, added some goat cheese to the top and baked for a few minutes. Delicious!

i just saw a recipe on here for french onion stuffed mushrooms... so you could put the carmelized onions in a stuffing mushroom and bake the goat cheese on top, i bet it'd be delish

first thing I thought of was a pizza!!! I would also add some prosciutto and maybe brush the dough with some rosemary olive oil.

I make a pizza using this and my kids love it.
I roll out pizza dough, drizzle olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Then I add fresh spinach (I usually rinse it so it isn't dry but not soaking wet) sprinkle with salt, grilled chicken, the onions and goat cheese. I bake it on 400 for about 15 minutes. Until the dough is done. It is sooo good.
In the summer we do this on the BBQ and it is insane! You put the dough right on the grill.
I also make grilled chicken/steak sandwiches with the onions, goat cheese, spinach on french bread or ciabatta bread. I will slice the bread toast it, drizzle with olive oil then rub fresh garlic on it.
