non-holiday question - Where to go for my birthday??
I'll be going out with a small group of friends for my birthday on Friday the 30th. I never know what to do. I'm looking for some place fun, maybe involving dancing, but nothing too crazy. Half of us are in the Massapequa/Farmingdale area, and the other half is in Oceanside/Island Park. So basically it can be at either end or anywhere in between but I'd probably prefer near me (Farmingdale). Any ideas???

Re: non-holiday question - Where to go for my birthday??
A couple of years ago my friends and I all went to United Skates and I had a "Birthday Party" there and it was seriously AWESOME. We all had pizza and got skates and hung out for $10. It was such a blast. I know its not exactly dancing but its something fun and different to do.
ETA: $10 each- not collectively I always get coupons for them too- if you're interested I'll send you one. Like "Free Skate party for you and 10 friends"

FOUR in Melville turns into a club/lounge late at night, and the food is pretty good too.
300 also in Melville is an "adult-type" bowling alley with great food, amazing drinks, and fun music
