The Outer Banks
My husband and I are thinking about taking a vacation to the Outer Banks next June. I have never been there, so I do not know where to go. Here is my dilemma. He LOVES the beach and would spend the entire trip there, but I would get super bored so I need shops, restaurants, a town area I can walk to. Where would be the best place we can go that would be the best of both worlds for us?
TIA!

Re: The Outer Banks
I'd look into the town of Duck.
We rented a house on the beach in Southern Shores for a week and had a great time ! A few of our friends walked to Duck which was north of us.....but the town had a bunch of little shops and restaurants to go to.
Our other friends went to Kitty Hawk so I think there's some stuff there also. We took cabs to a karaoke bar and the brewery for dinner which weren't far either. And some friends went to the light house while the guys went golfing one day so those activities are probably close by as well. I just hung-out at the pool and the beach most of the time lol
Enjoy !!

Re: The Outer Banks
We have been there several times and have stayed in Corolla and Nags Head. Both are very nice. We use the website villagerealtyobx.com to book our vacation rentals each time and have never had a problem with them. The website also tells you about the different areas.
