If you recently sold a home in Suffolk County....
how long did it take to get an offer and/or sell the house?
I am going to start the process and I want to know what kind of timeline I can expect.

Re: If you recently sold a home in Suffolk County....
not me, but I think it depends upon a few things:
-the area - is it up & coming? or tried and true?
-is it priced correctly? is it comparable to others in the neighborhood?
-does it have enough rooms/good layout?
-are the taxes swallowable?
-curb and interior appeal
I find certain areas can be selling shacks and they get gobbled up quickly, soley based on the area.
Other areas are up&coming, affordable, and young families are flocking to those areas (Patchogue, Patchogue Village, Holbrook, just to name a few)
good luck!

I think it depends on price mostly and then location.
If a house is priced right then they are going in less than a month in my neighborhood but others are sitting.
