how long does a fruit salad keep for?

any idea how long a fruit salad keeps for? we are having a breakfast party at work on thursday morning and I was assigned buying fruit bowls. i can go tonight to BJ's to pick a few up but tomorrow night will be busier for me.. do you think if i bought the fruit bowls tonight and put them in my fridge, they will stay fresh until Thursday morning?

It should be okay, depending on when the fruit was originally cut up and put into the bowls.

Some fruit will give off more liquid - i.e. watermelon. You might need to drain off some of the liquids at the bottom before serving.

I would think most cut up fruit will last a few days, as long as it was nice and fresh to begin with.
