Pre-qualified!!
We met with a mortgage broker tonight who was awesome! He wrote us a pre-qualification letter and is going to work on the pre-approval over the next few days, mainly because we haven't 100% decided which route we want to go, between a few different ones available to us.
We know we are going with an FHA loan, we just need to decide between a couple options. I am so so so excited to start the house hunting process and am sure I will be here a million times with so many questions!!

yay!!! you can join me!!!
we got our pre-qual last week, and put a bid in on the same day for a house we loved, but it was priced crazy low and even though we went in over asking price we lost it 
however we found another house over the weekend, and we're going to look at it again tomorrow, and will hopefully be putting in an offer
