If you've ever had a chemical
how long did it take for AF to come?
I had a BFP on Nov 14, went to the dr to confirm and was told my beta was under 10, and it was a chemical. My dr never mentioned how long it would take for AF to arrive, he just said for me to come in after the new year to discuss IF treatments.
I called this morning, and he said my body hasn't adjusted yet, and if I haven't had it by the time I see him next month, he'll give me provera.
I've been googling all I can, and nothing seems to come up. I know i'm not pregnant because I've been testing every week since to make sure.
Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me?

Re: If you've ever had a chemical
i started bleeding 2 weeks after AF was supposed to show, but i was also on Progesterone suppositories which always delays AF... my beta was 8 the day i started bleeding.

Re: If you've ever had a chemical
I had a beta of 15 at bled that night. I'm sorry, I know this is so frustrating!! I'd request to come in for bloodwork.

Re: If you've ever had a chemical
I am so sorry to hear this news. My chemical was hard for me to handle. First off, know that you didn't do anything wrong. It's just nature's way sometimes. Try to think positive- at least there was fertilization at some point. Some doctors use this info to put together a concise diagnosis.
It took 9 days for AF to arrive after my chemical. My doctor said it could take 2 weeks! After AF arrived, it lasted (very heavy) for about 10 days. My beta actually went up 2 days after my first test, then trailed off day by day until AF came.
I hope this helps to answer your questions!

Re: If you've ever had a chemical
thank you all
Just wanted to see what others' experiences were like because I don't know anyone whose been through this.
I had another chemical in March, and AF came about 3-4 weeks later, and lasted 3 weeks. Hoping it's not the same this time around.
