Cooking classes on LI?
Did Viking School in Garden City close? Any other recs of a place to take a cooking class?

Yes, the Viking School closed at the end of June. I used to take a couple classes there. I heard A La Carte in Lynbrook does classes and Sur La Table in Manhasset (as PP mentioned).

I just took a cooking class through my local school district. It was nothing fancy but it was 4 weeks and it was "meals done in 30 minutes". Cost like $30 I think. I got some really great recipe ideas and cooking tips. Maybe you can look into something like that.
