Round 2 of clomid in one cycle
So today is CD10 on 100mg of clomid and I had one follie at 11 one at 10 and a whole bunch smaller. I always have long cycles and last clomid cycle made me O on day 21 compared to non-clomid cycles that go 26 plus days before O. So bloodwork showed that my estrogen was less than 20 so the RE said to go back on clomid today for another 5 days at 150mgs....I know they are the experts but my estrogen is always very low until right before I ovulate. Just frustrated I guess...anyone have two rounds of clomid in one cycle?

I have never heard of that...my follies on CD 10 are small as well but my cycles are 35 days so by CD 13 they get bigger...I was also put on estrogen since my levels were low...

When I didnt respond to femara (similar to clomid), my doc moved onto injectibles. Good luck!

i cannot think of who but i remember somebody on these boards posting about that bc that was the first time i ever heard of it..when i did not reapond to the clomid the just increased it the next cycle,not in the same but maybe things r diff?
i have not been on clomid in a while...i am no help,sorry

I started on 50mgs 2 cycles ago and then last cycle it increased to 100...since I did have a chemical pregnancy they said they would keep it at 100 for this cycle too...but as of today jumped me up to 150 after last week of 100mg the RE thinks didn't do enough...so they did increase me over the past few months I guess I am just shocked that my RE decided to up me again a few days after finishing the 100mg because that was never even mentioned as an option. I personally think things would progress as usual for me with my estrogen rising just before O and that I would O around the same time...but I think she's getting impatient with my cycle...she called me her stubborn patient last time I saw her

this is a fairly normal course of action. one cycle i was on femara (similar to clomid) and injectables. i had no follies by day 12 or so after a cycle where i hyperstimmed and had to cancel the cycle (so we know i respond too well to stims), so the dr order a repeat of the entire protocol. it took 21 day of stims to get 2 or 3 nice follies. that cycle ended up being chemical but it wasn't because of the long stim. its not crazy uncommon to repeat a round of clomid or femara in one cycle if your estrogen is low and your lining is manageable.

for me cycle 1 was 100mg clomid and after no response 150mg of clomid
cycle 2 200mg clomid no response then 250mg no response, then injectables, had to switch to ivf or cancel cycle for there were too many follies
