Re: what brand strollers are
A note from a BTDT mom: Don't buy your main stroller based on the car seat fitting in. My daughter was in her infant seat for only 4.5 months, and the stroller will be used for years. You can buy for about $50 a car seat frame (Kolcraft Universal Carrier, Snap N Go) which works great and is super light! (And you can resell for a good percentage when you are done.) Then you can buy whatever main stroller will work best for you!

Sounds like great advice to me.

Re: what brand strollers are
I agree with Calla. I orginally received the Graco Snugride and the Snugrider and then the Pliko 3 for my stroller. Well DH didnt like the fact that the carset didn't match the stroller so we echanged it for the Peg Perego carrier and I wish I kept the orginal one. I think DS would have been more comfortable in the Graco one. I was actually thinking about purchasing a used frame because I really dont need the stroller now but I use it as a travel system. You can find used frames for $15-$20 on Craigslist. You could always purchase the frame from their if you really wanted to get a matching set but didn't want to lug around a heavy stroller in the beginning. I also wanted to add that DS is 4 months old and is still in his carrier and will continue to be in their for probably another few months (I hope).

Re: what brand strollers are
we reg (and got!) the graco safe seat (up to 30 lbs for infant!) and the peg perego pliko p3 stroller....they don't have to match - in the beginning we will just use the snug rider frame (or the stroller if we are going somewhere walking but mostly just eh car seat and frame!) - everyone told us it is just lighter and easier to do it this way!

Re: what brand strollers are
Do you mean the infant car seat? THe convertible one (the Marathon, etc) will not fix any stroller. It is huge.
