Alarm System
We're supposed to be installing a new alarm system soon... and we were told that they drill lots and lots of holes, all sizes.. in the walls! Is this true?? Also, we have no crawl space or attic in our house... THANKS!

Re: Alarm System
The only hole that was drilled was for the alarm pad, and the siren. No other holes, and my house is completely hardwired.

Re: Alarm System
I guess it depends on the system you are getting. We have glass breaks on every window. They drilled holes in all our window and exterior door frames to run the wires through the walls to the control panel, which is in our garage. Then they also had to drill for the alarm pad by the door, the panic button, the siren speaker, and the smoke/heat detectors.
It's all done very neat, it's not like the walls or window frames are riddled with holes.
