Thinking off volunteering at a soup kitchen..

and theres an option to cook them a meal at home and bring it there. It would be for 100 guests. Im thinking of making a huge thing of meat sauce. How many boxed of pasta would I need to serve 100 people??

Any ideas? Im thinking I can make it ahead of time and put it in those huge catering tin trays...

I think the rule of thumb is to assume 1/4 pound per person. If you want to make it ahead of time make sure you undercook the pasta and not put too much sauce on it. When you heat the rest of the sauce and top it, the pasta will finish cooking.
