Still waiting to surge...Trigger Question
Going in again today and I have a feeling my RE will give me a trigger shot.
How does it work? Do i give it to myself at home or is it something the RE does?

Re: Still waiting to surge...Trigger Shot Question
It's a prefilled syringe and you do it at home.

Thanks! SO it's not a shot?! This makes me happy, I hate shots!!
I just want to get this month going already...all this waiting and back and forth to the RE is stressing me out!

I'm sorry if I was confusing, by syringe I meant that it IS a shot . It's not a big deal though. Since you're nervous, just ice it first and you'll be fine! When I was nervous about the injections at first, I had my dh do them for me. Good luck!!

Re: Still waiting to surge...Trigger Question
depends on your RE, some do them in the office depending on the dose and timing. but most of the time you would do it at home.

Re: Still waiting to surge...Trigger Question
I was told to come in to have the trigger since I had not given myself a shot before and the trigger I had was not a pre-filled syringe so there was mixing involved...my doc said that after a couple of times I could do it myself as long as I was comfortable doing it. I think next time I will ask to do it myself and they can show me what to do.
