What to do??
Dr B mentioned IUI today. I had been thinking about it, even though i dont have a "problem" getting pregnant...
i just feel like doing all of this with the shots & paying so much money I cant help but think that I should give myself the best chance possible...
I asked Dr B. and he said it was up to me, obviously... He basically just told me the statistics, that it increases the chances and as i am one of his favorite things to say, "someone who wants to be pregnant yesterday" thats hard for me to pass up.
But I wouldnt be doing a normal IUI, it would just be a trigger shot. We are still able to  on our own...

I believe just the shot and meds is timed intercourse. I did timed a few times and I personally would add the iui to the mix if u want to inmcrease your odds kwim? Gl!

If it ups your chances why the heck not? the good thing is he does back 2 back iuis which most docs dont.

so are you doing timed intercourse or are you doing an IUI?? 
i did 6 medicated timed intercourse cycles and got pregnant twice that way (both chemical). it was really hard for me to give up the last "natural" part of getting pregnant even though my entire cycle was very medically intervened (ovulation induction, trigger, intralipids, lovenox...etc). in the end dr. B said IUI wouldve upped my chances 8% over timed intercourse. for me and DH it wasnt enough to take the fun (BD) out of the process. eventually we moved to IVF so i did give in to the completely "unnatural" cycle, but my  is here because of it so i can't say i have any regrets!!

He never mentioned "timed intercourse" so i just assumed it was IUI. I guess it would be timed... and i think im going to do it.

Yeah, he said i would take the trigger then BD that night... i'll get more info next thursday at my other appointment...
Side note, he said my INTESTINES were covering one of my ovaries... that wouldnt have phased me in the least, but i happened to weigh myself on the scale in the bathroom...

I had a similar situation to you. I had no "problem" getting pregnant, I just couldn't stay pregnant. I was a Dr. B patient, and once I was diagnosed with my many issues...elevated NKC and 5 matching HLA genes, I tried 2 cycles naturally...that resulted in BFN. I was also on Prednisone, so Dr. B told me we can try one more month naturally or go to an IUI (either way after that cycle he wanted me to take a break from the prednisone and TTC for a month). Even though I did not have any problems getting pregnant, I decided to go with the medicated IUI cycle. He said it would up my chances a bit, and I was willing to take any chances that were in my favor.
Well fast forward to now...that IUI cycle worked and I have 5month old triplets!!! I am definitely glad I took that chance and went forward with the IUI!

yeah if he tells you when to have sex....its not an iui.
i would email him about doing the iui for more info....imo i would do anything that can up my odds!! gl

Like the others have said, if you just use the trigger, it's called timed intercourse
My DH and I did IUIs instead of timed intercourse because even if it only increases your chances 8% (at least that's what Flowerwife says) that was enough for us. We wanted to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to increase our chances, especially since the drugs were taking a physical toll.. not to mention the emotional toll of all this.
You should talk it over with your DH and do what you think is best!
