Color Suggestions

I want to repaint my dining room.

When we moved I painted it BM Windsurf Blue, and I loved it at first, but it's very limiting when it comes to things like flowers, linens, holiday decor, etc. EVERYTHING seems to clash with blue.

I sort of wish I could just paint it the same cream color as the living room and kitchen (DR is sandwiched in between), but I bought dining room furniture that's a mix of dark expresso wood (long table, bench, ladder shelf) and distressed cream pieces (corner hutches and chairs)

Can you suggest colors?? I thought maybe a mudbath/clay color similar to the bathroom (BM Pismo Dunes ) but I'm concerned about things looking...drab.

My dining room is a light green/gray color - BM Par Four.

I have dark wood furniture and my dining room chairs are upholstered in a cream color. Also, my formal china, which I display, has a pale green border.

I like the pale green - it almost functions as a neutral. I can add seasonal table linens and accessories and it basically "goes" with everything. I just hosted Thanksgiving and used dark greens, golds, and burnt orange colors on the table. At Christmas, the pale green is a good back drop for shades of green and red. In the spring, it plays well with pastel colors, such as pale yellow, light blue.

Thank you! I really like that shade for a non-white neutral backdrop.
