Who do you use for gutter cleaning? (Nassau)
Looking for someone in Nassau.
What do you usually pay and do you recommend anyone?
The last people we used were terrible, charged a lot and didn't do a good job. So I would like to use someone who other people had good experience with.

Were you happy with the job they did? We were getting quotes mostly for like $200?? So DH was leery of someone that was that cheap.

Yeah, extremely happy.
Those quotes are for powerwashing, etc..most don't want to come out and do small jobs.
I had them install my gutters too and they were great.
It takes the guys 20 mins to do my house.
They did give me a quote for a full powerwashing and other things and it was about $200 so that sounds right, but for just a basic gutter cleaning it was $35.

No they didn't do a power washing. As I said they were horrible and expensive. They didn't even reattach the leaders.
My neighbors and friends all have their landscapers do it - but DH does our yard so that wasn't an option.

that's crappy. One of the things I liked about Advanced is that they came fairly soon and were in and out.
I didn't want DH up on a tall ladder either.

See the front and back the gutters are on the 1st floor but the sides are on the 2nd and they are really high and I don't want DH doing it (and he isn't handy anyway).

I use Ned Stevens. It was $92. The price is going to depend on the size of your house. So while one persons is $35, yours might be more because your home is larger.
My friend uses the same company and hers is $65, she has a split, I have a splanch

No we have a small home - so it shouldn't be too much - I think sometimes they charge more because of the town. I know one time we used one company at our old home - the new house has fewer gutters, and more on the 1st floor but is about the same size - but an easier job. They quoted us $100 more - the only big difference was the town we lived in.

I've used Joe's Raindrop a number of times. His standard price is $40/house. He charged me $60 since my house is large and the gutters hadn't been cleaned in years.
Found him on here a few years ago. He cleans windows for $5/window.

Yeah mine too..I say pay the pros but there is no need to overpay the pros!
My house may be less because I have steep drops and no gutters in certain parts but they usually quote me over the phone without even asking me the address.
