I mix it with taco seasoning and serve it on lettuce with tomatoes, sour cream, chips, avacado/guac and make a taco salad.

I don't eat red meat, so I am always using this

I make everything with ground turkey!

My favorites include:
-taco meat
-mixed with rosemary, thyme and sage and served over rustic mashed potatoes
-cooked and coated in a mushroom gravy
-mini meatballs

Meatloaf! I add kale, onions and mushrooms. DH loves it!

Same as everyone.. anything I do with ground beef I do with ground turkey. My husband prefers it.

This sounds really strange but its good. It was given to us by someone on a low salt, low fat diet.

Ground turkey with egg noodles, peppers and olives.

1 package ground turkey
3/4 package yolk free egg noodles
2/3 bottle low fat/fat free italian dressing
green olives
garlic, onion
frozen mixed peppers.

Pot One:
Boil water for noodles, when almost done add green (salad) olives (about 1/3-1/2 small jar w/ liquid)
drain

Pot Two:
Sautee onion garlic to taste. Add ground turkey. When almost cooked, add peppers to defrost. Drain any liquid/fat

Combine noodles/olives with turkey/peppers. Add dressing until wet/coated. Reheat and serve.

I'm not a big fan of the peppers - think it adds color and some taste -but usually omit them. The olives add a salty backround.

I can't stand turkey burgers!

You can also brown it & add to elbow macoroni (or similiar) with tomoato suace. We do this with beef, but it works with turkey too.

My mother tells me they're a pita to make but Turkey Croquettes have always been a favorite! Of course, I never make them myself, I just wait for my Mom to make them and invite me over.

Blue cheese burgers. I mix ground turkey with grill seasoning and crumbled blue cheese and cook them in a cast iron skillet - never on the grill or else the blue cheese that melts out won't get crispy

I love this recipe from my weight watchers cook book. It says 1/2 lb of turkey, but I use a whole package. I also use 2% cheese, not fat free since it doesn't melt well.

Turkey tamale casserole
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

4 TSP Canola oil
1 Bell pepper, seeded and chopped
2 Red onions, chopped
1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded, deveined and minced
1 Garlic clove
1/2 pound ground skinless turkey breast
1 C tomato sauce
1 C frozen corn kernels
1 TSP chili powder
2 C water
2/3 C stone-ground yellow cornmeal
1/3 C shredded fat-free cheese of your choice



Directions
1. In a large non-stick skillet over medium heat, heat the oil. Saute the bell pepper, onions, jalapeno pepper, and garlic until softened about 5 minutes. Add the turkey and cook, breaking apart with wooden spoon, until browned, 5-8 minutes. Stir the tomato sauce, corn, chili powder, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered, stirring once or twice, until the sauce thickens slightly, about 15 minutes. Transfer to a 8-inch square baking dish.



2. Preheat the oven to 350. In a medium saucepan bring 1 C of the water to a boil. In a medium bowl, whisk the cornmeal into the remaining 1 C water. Slowly pour the moist cornmeal into the boiling water in a thin steady stream, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon until the mixture comes back to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and begins to form large bubbles, about 5 minutes. Spread over the turkey so that it is completely covered. Bake 25 minutes, then sprinkle with the cheese and bake until the cheese melts, about 5 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

I make these thanksgiving inspired cocktail meatballs w/ thyme and craisins. They are so good.

I make meatloaf!!! So good and moist. I add eggs, the turkey meat, breadcrumbs, onions, and a bunch of chicken stock to keep it moist then I top it with bbq sauce mixed with mustard and ketchup. So good!
