IVF .. quick question
So I have a dr appt this Wed to discuss options. Can anyone tell me from start to finish how long the IVF process is??
Like if I started Wed, what does start even mean? what happens?
whats the earliest possibility of a pregnancy ??
Okay maybe my question wasnt so quick ..

It really depends on your protocol. I can only tell you my experience. I was on BCP for 3 weeks, then a 3 day break, 10 days of stims, and then had my retrieval. Had a 5 day transfer, and got my BFP at 6DP5DT. Beta was two days later. Hope that helps!

depends on protocol. mine took about 7 weeks from 1st BCP to BFP. if you have time you can read all about it here.

It really does depend on your protocol. I started last Tuesday and we are tentatively scheduled for a transfer the end of next week depending on how long I Stim for. I did not need to take BC either. The entire process (if everything goes according to plan) will take about a month and hopefully end with a BFP!

I started BCP on 9/3 and then had retrieval on 9/30, and transfer on 10/5. It depends on your protocal and response to medication. It does move pretty quick. Good luck!!!

Fresh Cycle:
9/24 AF Arrived
9/26 Started Stims-Menopur and Bravelle
10/2 Started Ganerelix Suppression Injections
10/7 Retrieval 17 Eggs, 14 Fertilized
10/10 Transferred 2 day 3 Embryos(froze 4,1died, 7 went to blast)
10/24 Beta BFN
Frozen Embryo Cycle:
10/24 AF
10/25 Visit to RE and began Estrace
11/6 Began Progesterone Injections
11/9 Began Doxycycline and Medrol
11/11 Transferred 2 day 5 Blast
11/23 Beta(POAS 5-7 days after Transfer BFN) hopefully get a Positive Beta Tomorrow.

thank you so much. the journal helped me a lot getting it all out on paper, and i hope its helpful to others now who are going through similar protocols. the birth story was just a crazy ending/beginning.
