Has anyone been to the Bahamas in February?
If so, what is the weather like? is it warm enough to go in the pools/ocean?

I have a feeling it would be cold. I know in January the high is only in the 70s and thats why the prices are a little cheaper.

The average is high 70s to 80 in February
We actually just booked our trip to the Bahamas for the last week in February

we went 1st week in march and it was tropical weather...We were at the beach/pool everyday, sunburned as well.. Shorts weather etc. I would say mid 80's most days.
IMO its a great time to go.

I've gone in late february. I don't remember the exact temperatures but it was warm. I do remember the non heated pool being pretty chilly but the ocean was ok. The nights were very chilly.

I was there this past February. It was warm, we laid out and even got a burn! We were in Nassau for a wedding (not Freeport).

I think it varies - I was there in March and I needed to wear a jacket - very chilly.

I feel it is really hit or miss for Jan/Feb. I wouldn't expect a true tropical warm vacation. Would recommend flying further south for that.
