is one box of penne enough?
we're having friends over to watch the football game on thursday. i'm cooking dinner and wanted to know if one box of penne is enough for 6 people (4 guys and 2 girls)? No, right??
eta: i'm also making garlic bread, salad, buffalo chicken dip, onion dip and some kind of dessert for after.

I always do 1lb of pasta per 4 people.
You will most likely have some left over... but it's better to have more than not enough.

I usually do one box for four people BUT since you are having SOOO much other food, i doubt people will be having such large portions of the pasta. For 6 eaters, I am sure one box will be perfect!

My family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids) almost polish off one box of pasta!
