If had an ectopic, what were your symptoms?
This is definitely a possibility...and tonight I have horrible cramping and pain on my left side...not sure what I should do. Not going for blood until Wednesday and sono in Thursday.

you prob wouldnt feel pain from an ectopic until your beta was much higher. the tube is small but the embie is even smaller when the beta is so low. i was always told 3-4 weeks post ovulation/IUI/ER was when ectopics become a problem.

Re: If had an ectopic, what were your symptoms?
pain on my right side, dizzy, threw up, tired and light headed... felt this way for about a week until I threw up food and felt like I was gonna pass out. I waiting so long I developed a blood clot at the end of my tube and was bleeding internally. It was bad! Right tube had to go
This happened 6 weeks after my IUI. When I got AF a week after my procedure I never did blood only a sonogram and Dr. didn't see it (of course)
Good luck, take it easy....it the pain gets worse I would go to the Dr/Hospital

Re: If had an ectopic, what were your symptoms?
my ectopic presented more like a m/c. i never had super high betas and i started bleeding almost immediately after my bfp. i bled on and off for about a month and my beta kept fluctuating by small amounts up and down. about 4 weeks after my bfp, i had a horrible heavy, cramping feeling in my stomach. that's when i went to the dr and they saw i was bleeding internally. i went immediately into surgery and my tube was removed. i saw 3 doctors in the month and none of them suspected an ectopic b/c my symptoms were not traditional. if you think you may have an ectopic, i can't stress enough how important it is to trust your gut and ask your doctors to really stay on top of your case. i knew something was wrong but i always felt "bad" questioning my doctors. lots of hugs to you

Re: If had an ectopic, what were your symptoms?
i had light bleeding right around when AF was due (super light). i was being monitored by the RE, so they took betas and progesterone. my betas were low and so was my progesterone. right around 5 weeks, i got a really sharp pain on my left side (i was doubled over) and then more bleeding. i went in for blood work and sono and the dr could see a very small bulge by my tube and nothing in the uterus.

Re: If had an ectopic, what were your symptoms?
Its hard with an ectopic at the beginning b/c the symptoms are pretty much the same as pregnancy symptoms... but if not caught soon enough ectopics can give you extreme keeled over pains
for me i had no symptoms except for i had light brown spotting which i thought was normal.. my beta's were always perfect... they caught mine b/c of my first sono at around 5.5 weeks where they saw the sac growing in my left tube
