Salad bowl question --kind of random
What bowls do you use to eat salads in? I'm talking salads that are your meal salads, not little side salads 
Regular bowls are too small to mix things up nicely...and then I can't find anything bigger that is not too big (it all becomes like vegetable bowls), maybe I'm not looking in the right place
Any ideas? TIA!

I use a pasta serving bowl. I have also used large platters when I make a Nicoise salad. It looks so much nicer when presented on a platter.

we use mixing bowls because its easier to mix the dressing in and we dont want to wash another dish

I have Pyrex nesting bowls. The 1.5 quart works nicely when I have a salad as a meal.
It's the orange lidded one I like best!

Do you mean to make a great big salad and then have people scoop out their portion?
or do you mean to eat yourself?
......I'm a salad addict. I have 2 salads a day.....I use this GIANT mixing bowl from ikea....it works. It's huge.

We use our pasta bowls for entree salads. But if it's taco salads, I have two of a melamine serving bowl from C&B years ago that I loooove for that use. This one here is kind of similar...just a little less shallow than what I have.

Eat myself, I should have been more clear

My husband & I both use these huge mixing bowls when we have salads (some people might actually serve all their guests a salad that size )
I've been eating troffs for a salad since I was in college

we use big soup bowls...that are really veggie serving bowls that go with my dishes
we eat big bowls of soup too!

I use my pasta bowls. They're shallow but wide so much better than a regular bowl for eating a big salad. BTW, I also love them for breading chicken.
