LI IVF Q
I was wondering if any of you ladies go to this practice and are happy with them? Also do you know if they take GHI?
I am starting to get frustrated with my RE and not getting any answers or even speaking to anyone at all, and feel like I deserve somewhat more of personal attention rather than being treated like another number.
Sorry for the vent and thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Re: LI IVF Q
I have gone to them for one cycle and I have found them to be very professional and very organized. So far I have only seen my doctor there for my initial consultation when we came up with a plan. But she has called me probably 3-4 different times to discuss my lab results and whatnot.
I also have found the Melville location to be very clean and modern looking. It seems they excessively monitor you for an IUI lol, but I guess it is good to have them watching so closely!
Also their hours for me are great! Monitoring is from 6:30-8am and seriously was 15 minutes total from car and back to car.
The only negative I can say is they don't seem to believe in immune issues being a factor in fertility and I have immune issues so I am having my issues monitored by a different doctor.

Re: LI IVF Q
I liked LI IVF bc their monitoring hours are so convenient if u work. I would get there at 6:15am and be out the door by 6:35am. No waiting!
They have a cool voicemail system so any day you go to the office, just call your voicemail after 4pm and you hear your personalized message with "the next step" (come back on Thurs for monitoring/ IUI scheduled for Sat at 8:45/ etc).
Any time I would call my dr, she would call me back the same day and answer my (million) questions. She always gave me options about more aggressive vs. less aggressive plans.
I liked the Melville office bc the place is new, modern and clean. The staff will get to know you.
The nurses do the sonos and IUI s, so I rarely saw my dr. For me, that wasn't an issue bc I could easily get her on the phone, but that may be a problem for some people.
HTH!

I go to LI IVF and have had a good experience so far. Like others have said, the monitoring times are very convenient, they are very organized - never a long wait, nice offices, the staff are very friendly and helpful and even though I don't see my RE very often he is very accessible by phone!

Re: LI IVF Q
I agree with all the things the pp have said. I really like LI IVF. I go to Dr Brenner. The statistsics for success are also higher than the national average which is good to know.
Good luck!!

Re: LI IVF Q
thanks ladies. does anyone go to the lake success location? I technically live closer to Melville, but since my monitoring appts will be in the AM I would need an office closer to my job (which would be the lake success office).

I went to lake success for all blood work and monitoring at 630 am. There were times where I was back in my car within 20 minutes. They are very organized. The Melville office is where all your procedures have to be done though.
Good luck!!

Re: LI IVF Q
Just had my first appt. today with Dr. Brenner and am feeling very comfortable and feel like we have a great plan in place. Very clean modern office and they seem extremely organized. My appt. was at 3 and i got in exactly at 3 which has never happened at a Dr.'s office so that was nice.
