layover in amsterdam

I have an 8 hour layover in amsterdam...what can i do?

i hear that its pretty easy to get from the airport to the center of town. true?

any advice for those that've been to amsterdam

i went about 15 years ago with a tour, but all we did was the river cruise. nice, but this time id like to walk around

feel free to inbox me. I went last May. I took the train downtown and took a boat tour that lasted about an hour and a half thru the canals. Then the Anne Frank House than the Red Light district. you can do all of that in 8 hours

I would take Mike's bike tour to see a lot in 3 hours.
