XPost - Crock Pot Beverage ... Help me decide!!!
OK so HELP me decide.... I'm doing Christmas this year and I'm planning on making a few things in the crock pot.
One is French Onion Soup along with a dinner and a beverage. Yes, that's 3 crock pots going on at once. But it's easier than cooking everything.... plus who doesn't love the crock pot??
Anyway, I need help deciding on the beverage (and in the near future, the main dish as well)....
Here's a few ideas... I included some main ingredients to give a better idea):
FRENCH VANILLA EGGNOG (eggnog, french vanilla coffee granulates, coffee flavored liquor)
JOHNNY APPLESEED TEA (tea bags, apple juice, brown sugar)
HOT MULLED APPLE TEA (apple cider, tea, lemon, orange, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, brown sugar)
DEEP RED APPLE CIDER (apple cider, dry red wine, brown sugar, whole cloves, allspice, cinnamon stick)
ITALIAN HOT CHOCOLATE (coffee, hot chocolate mix, cinnamon stick, whipping cream, powdered sugar)
PARTY MOCHA (coffee granulates, cocoa mix, milk, cinnamon sticks, whipped topping)
I recognize some have alcohol, some have coffee and others have tea... clearly I'm not sure the direction to go in.
I have at least 11 people coming.... and friends tend to pop in and out.

Any of the hot apple cider drinks. They sound delicious!!! And a bonus is, they will make your house smell amazing - I made one a few years ago, but in a big pot, not the crock pot.
