Standing in bathtub
Sidney has decided that standing in the tub is much more fun than sitting. She wants to stand and play with the spout or pee in the tub
I've tried with or without the tub seat but same thing. Its really hard to wash her hair and keep a hand on her while she is standing.
What I'm doing now is I praise her and sing to her while she is seated. The second she stands I shut up and just look blankly at her. Once she sits back down the singing and playing starts again. It has helped quite a bit its still such a struggle.
Any advise?
P.S. She also now loves to pee on the bathroom floor too. The other night after she peed on the floor I put her back in the tub real quick to clean her off. When I took her back out she peed again!!! I think she is just fascinated by it

Re: Standing in bathtub
No advice to share, just wanted to let you know that you aren't alone on the standing issue. So frustrating!
I hope someone else has a magic answer to share!

Re: Standing in bathtub
Sit down or you are getting out works for my son....and when he doesn't I start lifting him out or take him out - after a few times it worked for him and then he rarely did it - I think eventually the novelty of standing up wears off for them as well.
