my dining room is a dumping ground!
whenever we come home we always end up dumping bags, toys, mail, coats in the dining room...on the table, on the sideboard , the floor! it looks so messy! how can i keep it organized but functional? it's the first room you walk into and we dont have an entryway. i'm looking for a cabinet like furniture piece to hold, bags, hats, gloves, shoes, accessories.

I feel your pain!! My dining room is the 2nd room you walk into in my house and it seems everything gets dropped there! It makes me crazy!!!!

we do the same thing! I want to hang up some hooks for purses/bags and a key ring too.

We actually just did this today. We no longer have a coat closet and so instead we added hooks for coats in our dining room (also our second room when you walk in the front)
