Went to 2 fireplace stores

Yesterday we went to Basic Energy East and Village Fireplace (my husband had a previous bad experience there).

Basic Energy (Bob) was very informative but they did not have exactly what we wanted. We than went to Village Fireplace and they had the insert that we wanted. We than went back to the other place and he looked it up in the book and the price was the same as Village.

So before anyone looks at stoves/inserts look online first and get model numbers because these stores do not have many on display but can get you prices on other ones.

We are going with Basic Energy.

Also, if you pick up stove yourself you get a discount (we have trailer).

We are interested in getting a gas fireplace insert for our wood burning fireplace. Which insert did you go with and why? How much do they cost? If you have any other advice I would appreciate it.

We also went with Basic Energy East and were VERY pleased with them! Glad you had a good experience!!!
