i did mine 2 years ago
must have for me were:
lots of drawers!
pot drawers and reg. drawers
breakfast bar/ island
under counter lighting
better layout
i refused the first few layouts because they didnt have the breakfast bar/island.
i am sooooooo glad i did. we use it everyday and it is the best thing i ever did for my kitchen.

Stainless appliances
Pull out garbage and recycle bin
Built in soap pump
Built it water purifier spout
Under mount sink
Built in refrigerator
Lots of pull out drawers for pots and pans
Large pantry with pull out drawers
Double wall oven
Gas cook top
Wood floors

garbage disposal
granite counters
plenty of outlets
clean steel appliances (instead of stainless)
good hood over stove with bright light and strong exhaust
tons and tons of storage
