beer braised beef with onion carrot and turnip

This is what I made tonight - beer braised beef with onion, carrot and turnip (used potatoes instead b/c grocery store didnt have turnip)

so easy and VERY good.
I doubled the broth (2 cups) and used 24 oz of dark beer served it with egg noodles
