Yep, another one...
about Disney.... and I can't promise that it'll be my last.
Tusker House character breakfast or O'hana?
It looks like Mickey appears at both?
Which is a better experience?
My issue is the menus. Although she may not eat much anyway, dd is not an egg, bacon, potato eater at all and that is what is served at O'hana.
Looks from the website, like Tusker has a wide selection of everything, but how is the experience?

Re: Yep, another one...
(edited to add some 'Ohana snapshots)
'Ohana is more laid back -- Tusker House can be frantic.
'Ohana is Lilo, Stitch, Mickey & Pluto -- Tusker House is Donald outside, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Daisy inside.
'Ohana you don't receive a photo package -- Tusker House includes the picture you take outside with Donald.
'Ohana serves fruit, bread, juice, then eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits, sausage and Mickey waffles -- Tusker House has a large selection including a kids area with the basics, lots of fruit and pastries, oatmeal, yogurt, and some African favorites.
If you're traveling after December 4th, Tusker House will be serving a character lunch as well and that might be a good choice for your daughter.

Re: Yep, another one...
Thank you for the info! Love the pictures!
So NOW. A spot has opened at Chef Micky's and I reserved it, but is it any better than these other two?
We already have a dinner at vi Derek as royal table and a breakfast at 1900 park fare, so I figured we would do a third character meal with Mickey... Not sur I want to do more than three during our 5 days there.

Personally, I prefer either Tusker House or 'Ohana to Chef Mickey's but I do think Chef Mickey's needs to be experienced once.
It's so OVER THE TOP and loud and bright and kids love to watch the monorail go through the Contemporary.
Though it pains me to say it, I'd probably choose Chef Mickey's in your situation.

Re: Yep, another one...
Dining at 'Ohana on the morning you leave is something we often plan for clients. You have a view of Magic Kingdom, you have characters, but you don't have the frantic activity of most other character meals so kids don't get as wound up, then hit the car or airplane.
Matter of fact, we're doing it ourselves in about 2.5 weeks. Good decision! ºoº

Wish I had seen this earlier - we are booked for Chef Mickey's our last day in Disney. Fortunately, breakfast is at 7AM and our flight home is at 7PM. I'm hoping a full day walking around MK will tired the poor thing out!!
