I pray that someone on here qualified and walks away with a beautiful baby. It just makes me wonder what the "qualifications" are. I've been trying for well over a year!

I just looked at this... the patient is still responsible for meds and pre screening tests.
Im waiting to verify my email and see if I qualify.

I love how they already know your answers then make you put in your personal info just to tell you you don't qualify. They better not send us crap now.

Ok, so I did the surve myself to see what it was all about. I obviously made stuff up but just wanted to see what kind of questions they were asking. A few things I noticed:
1. Says nothing about ovulation issues on the home page. That to me implies that they are not looking for ppl w/ ovulation issues.
2. Asks about the woman's height and weight. They may be excluding those w/ high BMI's. A lot of clinic are "fat-phobic" as overweight/obese women have less success and they don't like us bringing their stats. down. I delt w/ that first hand, so I know it happens!!
3. Asks about religion. I wonder if they are excluding ppl that identify w/ ceratin religions based on the fact that a lot of religions has issues w/ infetilty tx and IVF.
Just a few thoughts. I do know a woman from another site who did a trial w/ them about 2 yrs ago and was successful on the cycle. I have no affilitation w/ this place and have nothing to gain here. I was just trying to put it out there in hopes someone could benefit. I know what it's like to have no ins coverage for IVF and have to put it off due to finances.

I was thinking the weight issue was what disqualified me. I'm not as you would say an ideal BMI

This clinical trial has been going on for a few years now. I actually know someone that had twins as a result of the clinical trial. Just know that New Hope is a bit disorganized but it should be worth it for a free cycle. I think there are two arms of the trial....mni-IVF (low stim) and traditional. They select which arm you get by random. There is a MONSTER thread on this trial at www.fertilitycommunity.com on the IVF forums. I'm sure the ladies there can give you the ins and outs of how things work. GL!!

It says you have to pay for the meds. Does that mean if your insurance does not cover it? Also, its telling me I have to do a lot of the tests I have already done.

I got.it right away
I filled out mine on Saturday and got the response late today.
