Surgery Today

I had the hysteroscopy and laproscopy today to look for reasons why good embryos don't implant. They didn't shed any light that mystery, but they did find scar tissue on my right tube that my HSG didn't show. That explains why natural conception and IUIs were such a monumental failure.

This is the first time on this "unexplained fertility" road that I've gotten anything that resembles an answer to why. In a strange way, it feels really good. And he was able to remove the scar tissue.

So who knows why the IVFs didn't work or why I had the CPs, but it's nice to know what's going on inside my body. And my doctor held my hand while they struggled with the IV (got stabbed multiple times to hit a vein). He is such a warm and kind doctor on top of being ridiculously smart and capable and on top in his field, it makes it worth it to go out of the city.

I'm sorry if I rambled. The anesthesia/painkiller haze is still going strong Chat Icon

PS: That friend I wrote about on here...we got together to hash things out and I told her exactly how I have felt. Since then and through this surgery thing, she has been so sweet and supportive. It feels good to have my friend back Chat Icon

Re: Surgery Today

It's been 3 cycles since my lap surgery and although we aren't pregnant YET, I am so happy to be feeling healthier and have what I feel is some sort of power in this wicked game. 3 surgeons didn't even want to try the surgery till I found my female god send!

I hope your recovery is swift and great!
Glad to read good posts so thank u for sharing
