Do you like this haircut?--added more options

I have very long hair and am thinking about going short.

Can you tell me if you like this cut? And please post any that you do like! Looking to be just above/at the shoulders, and wear it wavy or straight. Thanks!

Re: Do you like this haircut?

I like the waves at the bottom but it seems very flat on top. I think it would look better with a few more shorter layers. I love the center part too.

Re: Do you like this haircut?

it looks like it is all one length, i usually prefer a cut with some layers/angles to it. maybe something like this?

Re: Do you like this haircut?

It's not my favorite cut, seems like it is all one length..

I think even a bit more layering would look nice (and give volume), maybe something like this:

Not really a fan of the one you originally posted. It seems like an awkward length and just too blah. I looooooove the JS cut though!

I think for the jessica simpson one, I would have to blow out my hair every day, which knowing myself i won't do. I have wavy hair, so would like something that I can wash and go and have it dry nice naturally (with some product to make it smooth and shiny), or blow out when I have the time/patience.

I'm having the hardest time finding something and have been looking for almost a month now!

Re: Do you like this haircut?--added more options

I showed my hairdresser a photo that is a lot like #1 so obviously I do like it. However, he said that look is done with a curling iron. I was cutting my hair short in order to simplify my life so I said "forget it." I opted for an all over scrunchy look. It's what is easiest for me. I did brush it out yesterday (without blowing it out straight) and that looked sort of cute.

so, I showed him the second and third pictures. he said no problem, we would make it just below the shoulder line. Instead, he cut it to my chin, and I am miserable. I hate it. Worst beauty decision ever :( I saved my hair and he said give it a few days, and if I am still miserable he will put my own hair back on as extensions.

Chat Icon I am sorry, that stinks that he cut it shorter than you agreed upon. Maybe wait a few weeks and then decide if you really hate it? A lot of times I end up liking the cut after it has grown in a bit. Also, have you done it yourself? Maybe that will make a difference?

No, I just got back from getting it done. But, he straightened it, and it is still this insanely short. my whole point in the cut was getting it done so that i could just let it air dry. I blow dry/straighten my hair only maybe three-five times per year--for weddings, family pictures, and sometimes major holidays, i think i'm just going to be pinning it back for at least a year :(
