Can you recommend an overnighter in New england?
Our 5 year anniversary is coming up and unfortunately we don't have the time to take a long triip. But we'd like to go somewhere for 1 or 2 nights. Its Nov 11th and we're thinking new england. We've gone to Newport twice and to Maine... loved it.
Can anyone recommend anywhere else?
A specific place to go/things to do?
Id love to hear your ideas!

Last year DH and I spent a weekend at The Saybrook Inn. It was great! We had spa treatments, went to the pool, and had a great dinner at the onsight restaurant. We had a room with a fireplace. We got a great deal from Travel Zoo. I suggest looking on travelzoo.com and groupon travel and pick a place that's offering a deal.

Stayed here last year and it's beautiful, they have the most amazing apple cider donuts at breakfast!

I went here last year and am going again this weekend. Nice spa, nice town, good service. Def recommend it.
