I've never had butternut squash!
Tell me.... what does it taste like? Consistency? Any good ways to prepare it?

It's the consistency of a sweet potato but not as thick. It has a nutty, buttery, pumpkin taste lol. I don't eat it but my Daughter loves it with cinnamon.

I make homemade raviolis with it. I also make a curried butternut squash soup.
