Need a recommendation- tapas restaurant
Hoping for some recommendations. We are doing my bff's bachelorette party in NYC next weekend and staying in Times Square. The bachelorette mentioned maybe a tapas style restaurant for dinner and I was wondering if anyone has an recommendations? There will be about 6 of us. I am not too familiar with the city so any help is appreciated! TIA!

Mercadito in the city has a great Tapas menu and the most awesome guacamole!!

DHs from spain and he used to live at la Paella when he lived in Manhattan. It's in the east village (3rd & 9th) though...prob too far for you

Try looking into bar basque. I have not been yet but hear good things. i think it is in the mid town area.

I love Xunta in alphabet city but they only serve wine, no hard liquor.
I also like Sala, and they have few locations but not sure any are in times square
Sala in the Bowery has a really sexy vibe to in though with a lounge downstairs. to me, it's worth splitting a cab each way to go there.
