Fever help
I have a really bad cold and just discovered my temp is 100. How much Tylenol should I take? So nervous. I'm 18 weeks.

I have taken two tylenol and been fine. If you are nervous you can call your doc office and ask to speak with a nurse...

I would take 2 Extra Strength Tylenol every 6hrs if needed. But I would see my PMD if I felt crappy. Maybe flu or infection?? Or maybe just a bad cold. Lots of fluids and rest! Feel better!

Thanks girls. I took the Tylenol and I'm waiting for the nurse at my ob to call me back. I don't think flu because it started yesterday with a cold. I decided to take the day off today and rest. I took my temp because I had a bad headache and freaked out. Just wondering if they'll recommend going to my reg care dr.

Omg someone on the what to expect boards is saying that 2 extra strength Tylenol was too much to take for 100. It's too late cause I took it but now I'm freaking out and the nurse still hasn't called back.

I wouldn't worry about the two tylenol. I have done it when I get a real bad headache and my baby is healthy so far!!! Don't stress!!!!!!!

Ok so the nurse told me she would've said to take 1 extra strength but not to worry about it. Just to take 1 in 6 hours if still up.
Also wants me to go to dr since a fever is usually a sign of infection :(

you are better off taking the tylenol and getting relief from the fever.. my allergies have turned into a cold and i have to go visit an ENT tomorrow because of persistent earache and ringing.. I wish I would have just popped in a couple of benadryl and tylenol to avoid this mess..

As an OB/GYN Physician Assistant, I am quite comfortable with my opinion that it WAS NOT too much. This is not something you are doing chronically; you are sick.
