Anyone's doc NOT mention NT scan?
I'm due to go back when I'm in my 15th week. All I was told is that it is an "ACOG" visit. Just had sono yesterday in my 11th week. Should I ask about the nt?

Yes ask about it. They are not a mandatory test but most people get it. I opted out of it.

The ultrascreen is an optional test and not all doctors even do it.
However not many docs do a sono at 11 weeks either. Ultrascreen/NT is normally done at 12 weeks...I wonder if what you had at 11 weeks was just a quick sono or if they took measurements like they would at an NT scan/Ultrascreen and just didn't call it that?
To be honest there are so many other tests that are done such as the AFT and the QUAD screen that test for Down's Syndrome and other problems. They say that the ultrascreen has a higher false positive then the other tests, so sometimes they can get moms worked up when there isn't reason to.
I didn't have an Ultrascreen but did have my Quad screening last week and thankfully everything was great =) I am still anxious though, for my 20 week sono bc I just want to see the baby!

I dont think age has anything to do with the Nt scan. My friend who is under 30 had one done. But im thinking maybe they gave you yours at 11 weeks. I would give the office a quick call and see. But as previous posters said this test is optional.

It is optional, but if you are already 15 weeks it is too late. You have to have it done between 12weeks - 13weeks and 6days I believe.
